They are what certainly makes it interesting. But what's really awesome is when you make up these little details with no plan for their interconnection, go about with the story and as you write it suddenly you find everything is caught in a web. It's amazing. Don't remember if I told you this, but that's what happened with a few characters in my stories. I found an unintended connection, was able to link them together, and now the universe of my story has exploded. 0_0

I suppose so... I just know that Alyssa basically ended up contemplating things a bit and enjoyed actually being treated like she wasn't just some ruler to obey, but a person's equal and such. She didn't really have friends before either. She actually had a rather lonely childhood.

If you ever use Painter, check out 's tutorial. That's how I started. I pretty much used her technique described for 'What Have We Become' and little Alyssa. I've modified here and there, but I've done mostly the same thing. As for all the brushes, it's fun to take and experiment with them. They're crazy awesome and I look forward to learning as much as I can about them.

Just to keep you eager for the book when it comes out. if it comes out. It better! It's been four years writing so far, I'll kill something if it never get's published.
